About Health Klinix
Health Klinix reflects a vision towards a fitter, healthier and happier life for everyone.
Dr Gowda, Consultant Physician in Infectious Diseases and Founder of Health Klinix, specialises in Tropical and Travel Medicine and Health & Wellbeing.
Dr Gowda has worked in major teaching hospitals across the UK for decades, and after seeing many patients during the very late stages of their disease he became increasingly focused on educating others on the importance of prevention. As a hospital specialist, he managed diseases like malaria, typhoid, advanced cancer, diabetes and stroke - all of which could have been identified, or even prevented, much earlier.
These experiences motivated Dr Gowda to build a team focused on a holistic approach to Health & Wellbeing and prevention. With this foundation, Health Klinix developed a clear set of core values focused on education, prevention and awareness.

We offer flexible same day, evening and weekend appointments. You can simply and quickly book online too.
We're in a great location in Earlsdon, Coventry. It's only a 15 minute walk to Coventry train station and the number 5 and 11 buses visit regularly. Find out more about bus times. If you're coming by car, we also have free off-road parking.
Dr Gowda has undergone specialist training and he is a very experienced health professional. You can therefore be reassured that you are receiving trusted advice from senior doctors and nurses. They will also administer your vaccinations safely.
As part of our regulation, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) evaluate our service in five key areas: Are we safe, effective, caring, responsive to people’s needs and well-led? We have proudly been rated a 'Good' standard.
GPs, hospital consultants, pharmacists and even other travel clinics are now referring clients to our specialised, expert service. If you have a complex medical problem and you are travelling, ask your GP first. We work closely with many of our GP colleagues and if they are unable to offer you advice, they may refer you to us. Please be aware that the NHS has not funded Health Klinix as we are a private health clinic, so we will need to charge for our services (see price list).
The Royal College of Physicians have recognised us for our excellence in patient care and innovation. In 2017, Health Klinix (formally known as Travel Klinix) were finalists in the Excellence in Patient Care Awards, Innovation category. Many national and international health organisations hotly contest this highly prestigious award every year.
We train specialist infection doctors for The Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board. The doctors attend our clinic to learn about travel medicine before they become consultants.
